While more purely artistic forms of photography are my real passion, I deeply enjoy photojournalism work as well. I experience a rush of excitement everytime I go out on assignment. I seem to revel in the knowledge that there can be no retakes, that the event has to be captured artfully and skillfully the first time. In a lot of ways I think my work as a photojournalist has improved my photography in ways that no other type of photographic work really can.
